The Best in Early Childhood Education

The Community School has provided caring, high-quality, affordable, age-appropriate early childhood education for the children of Maynard and surrounding communities for more than forty years. The school serves children from age two years, nine months to age five.                     

To better meet the needs of local families, beginning in September 2010, the school will no longer offer a full-day progam and will switch to a four-day, morning pre-school program. Children may attend two, three, or four days. The school also offers field trips, special enrichment programs, story hours, and family nights.

The Community School is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. 

The school is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and a proud member of the Maynard Community Chest. 

Community School scholarships have been funded in part by grants from the Foundation for Metrowest.
